| After a fallow year while the hall was demolished and rebuilt we are now reviewing ideas for our next performance, to utilise our fantastic new village hall and demountable staging. It is hoped CADS can get up and running again as soon as possible in order to have a panto this year. | Anyone is welcome to come along and is an ideal opportunity to meet new mums and for the kiddies to mix and play together. There is a rota for setting up clearing away and children’s snack time but most mums help anyway. Fees: under 1's free, over 1's -£10, extra siblings £3:00. Parents coffee fees £5:00. |

| Cockburnspath Playgroup ( Nursery) |
| We are a member of the Berwickshire Council Pre- School partnership group.
We enrol children from their 3rd birthday, these children are known as our "ante pre schoolers" and they attend the group in an afternoon from 1:15pm till 3:15 pm excluding Wednesdays when we are closed.
When the children reach their pre school year they will then move into the morning sessions and will attend from 9:15 till 11:45 Monday to Friday. However on Wednesdays they bring a packed lunch and stay until 12:30pm.
We are annually inspected by Care Commission and 3 yearly inspected by Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Education.
We are members of the S.P.P.A. (Scottish Pre-School Providers Association) and have two permanent members of staff, Cath Paterson N.N.E.B, who has run the group for some 10 years now, and her colleague Angela Brading.

| During the past year a BMX track has been built and the construction of a Skatepark is nearing completion. This group has worked tirelessly to raise funding and hopefully in April/May there will be a Grand Opening of this facility for the youth of the village. |
